The Committee for Crescent Sighting in Qatar has announced that Wednesday, April 10, 2024, will mark the first day of the blessed Eid Al Fitr in the country. This determination was made based on accurate astronomical calculations carried out by professionals.Tentative Date
According to the announcement, the month of Shawwal and the beginning of Eid Al Fitr will commence on April 10, 2024. Tuesday, April 9, 2024, will be the last day of the Month of Ramadan.
Eid Holiday Announcement
In celebration of Eid Al Fitr, the Amiri Diwan has declared the following holiday schedule:
- Ministries and other government entities will have the following holiday period: April 10-14, 2024
- Public sector employees will have a holiday from April 11-15, 2024
